A message from Calvin Lee,

1. Video of Dr. Lee playing violin (Schindler's List) in Taipei, Taiwan.
2. Special offer for discounted tickets for the Modesto Symphony upcoming concert <-- this offer has expired.  It was a great concert!! (Dr. Wu and I went on Friday).  I'm leaving the details on here so you can read more about it.
3. OBAGI Skin Care Open House (Nov 5, 2009 - Thursday)

Above is a YouTube Video of Dr. Calvin Lee (me) as guest soloist and concertmaster of the Taipei Civic Orchestra.  Schindler's List.  Taiwan National Concert Hall in Taipei, July 17, 2009.  You can find this on YouTube by searching "Calvin Lee Schindler".   I love this video, music, location, and orchestra! Click this link if the video doesn't appear above:  Schindlers List

Dr. Wu and I are back from our multi-month vacation.  I made use of this time to hone my acupuncture skills in the Far East and to explore my musical side.  I played violin in some of the world's greatest concert halls in the last few months.  These halls included:  Carnegie Hall (New York City), Taiwan National Concert Hall (Taipei), and The Cultural Center of Hong Kong.

Here's what a viewer/violinist from Germany had to say about my playing of the Schindler's List in Taipei, Taiwan (one of my favorite quotes that I've received):

". . . One of the most touching violin sounds I have heard in a very very long time. Everything.  From the first note and the vibrato on G and D-String up to the high notes toward the end.  Lee never lets any note just go unloved, every one of them is dearly interpreted. This is really hard to do.  Playing fast pieces is NOTHING compared to this in difficulty level. My deepest respect. "

I am back in Modesto performing surgical procedures including botox injections, acupuncture, and vein sclerotherapy.
